Durja Lanew was a Human Jedi in the waning days of the Old Republic and a master of the sixth form of lightsaber combat, Niman. He was born on the city planet Coruscant in the year 54 BBY. Found by master Yoda, he was sent to the Jedi temple as a youngling at age four. There, he became a Padawan at age eleven, and a knight at seventeen. Immediately, Durja Lanew took an apprentice by the name of Kau-Ja Manew, a native of a newly discovered forest planet called Nonderan, and he led his young Padawan on numerous missions. These two were even partners in the Clone Wars, in which due to their teamwork, won most of their battles. This gave him fame that lasted him to Order: 66, where he was believed to be dead.
