Paul Murphy-Spaak was born in Jorka as the eldest son of Theodore W. Murphy and Laura Spaak, both descendants of political icons. At very young age Paul was introduced into politics. At the age of 22 he was elected chairman of the Young Progressives, the youth wing of the former P&A. At that time he had earned his degree in communications, economics and political science. While under arrest he got elected for the Presidium in July 3731. His daughter Anna Murphy-Spaak took his seat for the time of his absence. Paul has 3 children and 11 grandchildren.
