The Motorpoint Arena is an arena in Sheffield, England. It is situated near Rotherham, Sheffield City Centre, Attercliffe, Meadowhall Shopping Centre and Valley Centertainment. It is the premium concert and entertainment venue for South Yorkshire. It opened as the Sheffield Arena and was re-branded as the Hallam FM Arena in 2002, but returned to its original name in 2007. On 9 August 2010, Sheffield Arena was officially re-branded as the Motorpoint Arena after the Derby-based car sales company, Motorpoint, invested £1m to rename the venue.
