The 1958-29 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at McCormick Field on July 12, 1958. Jim Paschal won his only race of the year, leading all 150 laps in route to a one carlength victory on Cotton Owens. Eventual season champion Lee Petty finished 4th.
