[[Category:Encounter ]] [[Category:]] Ethereal stride is a spell used by warlocks to enable them to fade out of the world for a split second, crossing into the Ethereal Plane or some equivalent thereof. When a warlock finishes the use of ethereal stride he or she finds themselves transplanted a distance of fifteen feet. The effects of the movement stick with the warlock a moment longer, however, making them slightly more difficult to attack due to their temporarily insubstantial nature. Ethereal stride is straining on the warlock, but only slightly, and use of the spell can be regained with a rest of a few short minutes. The spell is similar to, but weaker, than the wizard spell ethereal jaunt.
