Jacqueline Rivera was a Solarian citizen and a reporter for Solarian News Services. She worked with Manfred O'Neill as her longtime recording technician. Her opinion of the Star Empire of Manticore was very low, and she resented the fact that her superiors forced her to tone down her criticism of Manticoran policies. In February 1922 PD, she and O'Neill were just disembarking the passenger liner Starlight when the Mesan Alignment Navy's Operation Oyster Bay hit the Manticore System. A graser torpedo hit the space station Hephaestus' Passenger Concourse Green-317, killing them along with four hundred other passengers. (HH12)
