Marutah マルト is a second evolution MAG in Phantasy Star Online. A Varuna becomes a Marutah when it first reaches level 35 or above and has a DEX stat higher than both POW and MIND. Only whole POW, DEX and MIND levels count for these comparisons; the 0%–100% progress meters are disregarded. Although a MAG must be held by a hunter to become a Varuna at level 10+, the class of its holder at level 35+ is disregarded for the second evolution.
