FicSpecies uses a unique habitat system featuring small symbols in the infobox that show a species' habitats. There are 20 unique symbols, representing 20 possible habitat options. Add habitats by inserting the relevant template, shown in the "code" column of the table below. The default rollover text can be changed by entering a second field to the template: e.g. {{grassland|Savannah}} will show "Savannah" instead of "Plains/grassland" when someone mouses over the symbol.
