The Samurai is an unlockable class in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. All the Samurai's tiers start out with the best Weapon Mastery for Swords, Spears, and Axes, and an 110% Aptitude in Attack. This makes them some of the most offensively powerful humanoid characters the player can create, second only to Ninjas, Angels, and Majins when it comes to physical attacks. However take note of their low RES and mediocre DEF, which makes them sitting ducks for Mages and Gun-toting enemies.
