The main goals of the Typhojem were originally unknown and only the Typhojem of Death had a guess of what their goals were, the Typhojem were however drawn by destiny to the Font of Power and Pool of Knowledge as well as the strength seen in the Celestials' Force-sensitive cousins: the Force Wielders, the Typhojem of Death comments that it was possible that the Typhojem simply exist to shift the Balance of the Force toward the dark side and to counter the actions of the Chosen One.
