The Temple took about a standard year to construct. It was destroyed during the Sith Wars many times, and rebuilt. Near the end of the Sith Wars, it was abandoned and a new temple was constructed on Dantooine. Later, once the Sith retook Coruscant, the Jedi Order attacked and retook the planet, thus rebuilding the Temple
