Professor Honeycutt had just created a device that could pick up objects using your mind (similar to The Force from Star Wars) when he was interrupted by General Blanque. The General wanted Honeycutt to build a teleportal device, which was intended to be a way to promote peace across the galaxy. However, Honeycutt found out that Blanque wanted to use the portal as a weapon (by transporting bombs across space) and the professor refused to construct it. Professor Honeycutt received a distress call from Sal, his robot assistant. Sal had became tangled in wires; as Honeycutt was about to untangle the first wire, he was struck by lightning and his body disintegrated.
