The Menstrualola Factory was opened in downtown Fright Side in 1900. It was founded by a private group of vampires who wanted to create a local beverage tailored to the more "traditional yet freaky, spooky folk." It is the only source of Menstrualola products yet has become one of the most powerful businesses within the Spooky World of Illinois. In 1992 the factory began to produce seasonal Crystal Menstrualola and in 2000 it began to produce Menstrualola Quantum for its one hundreth anavesry.
