Sern Leshon was a male native of the planet Obsidian, and the leader of the city of Kalara. As such, he was regularly accompanied by an entourage of three men and three women. Leshon had resented the presence of Starfleet officers, led by Captain David Rabin, in his city, but he was overruled by Kalara's city council when the mission was established. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Forge) It is unclear whether "Sern" is a title, or a part of Leshon's name.
