David Leigh Kerr (25 March 1923 – 12 January 2009) was a general practitioner and Labour Party politician. Born in Croydon, he was educated at Whitgift School and Middlesex Hospital Medical School. In 1946 he set up a general practice in Tooting. In 1956 he joined the Labour Party and served as secretary and vice president of the Socialist Medical Association. In 1958 he was elected to the London County Council as a councillor representing Wandsworth Central. He held the seat until the county council's abolition in 1965. Entry in Who’s Who.
