It was Lisa who first noticed the tornado. It sucked up Santa's Little Helper and Homer with Marge left their children at home and joined Lenny and Carl to find the dog. However, they got too close to the tornado which destroyed their car and sucked them all up. After they had fallen down, National Bank of Springfield fell on Homer and Marge, trapping them inside. Chief Wiggum tried to break the glass door, but failed. Eventually, the store glass cutter cut the glass and let the Simpsons out.
