Daidoji Jinwa was a bushi of the Crane Clan who lived when the Wasting Disease was striking Rokugan. His cousin Daidoji Imoto sent him a letter reporting his troubles to deal with a persistent vermin plague of ratlings. Shortly after Imoto disappeared during a retaliation patrol against the nezumi in the northern foothills of the Daidoji province.
