Deep Space Homer 2016 Event is the 18th minor event and the first event of 2016. It was released on January 21, 2016 and ended on February 3, 2016. A new premium costume, Astronaut Barney, was released bundled with either Barney's Bowlarama (if the player didn't already have it) or the Space Shuttle Simulator. Buying Barney's Bowlarama gave a refund of 130 donuts for the length of the event.
