New Bajor was a Bajoran colony established in 2370 in the Gamma Quadrant. The capital city is known as New Rakantha. Following the Third Republic of Bajor's membership in the United Federation of Planets, it too joined the Federation. New Bajor orbited a G class star. (ST reference: Star Charts)
