Ivy Drive North is a two-way street that runs from Topaz Street to Grummer Road on the northwestern part of Algonquin. The road is one of the few in Algonquin that have an unobstructed view of the West River and the State of Alderney. The street runs behind housing projects and runs parallel to Union Drive West. The name Ivy Drive comes from the neighborhood it runs through, Varsity Heights, which is home to popular, prestigious Vespucci University. Vespucci University is an Ivy League school thus giving this street its name.
