Mathew Hicks was a boy abducted from a pool in New Orleans and killed by Arthur Mitchell, on July 9th, 2009 before Mitchell began his cycle of new kills in Miami prior to the start of Season Four. He was the first in the kill cycle that claimed the lives of an unnamed woman, an unnamed mother of two, and an unnamed father of two.
