The attack was ultimately thwarted by members of the Spanish police and also Agents associated with NCIS- the Naval Criminal Investigate Service of the United States of America with all the terrorists either being captured by the police or killed in the resulting gunfight between the group of terrorists and the joint CIA/Spanish Police and NCIS task force with the attack taking place during the JAG Season 8/NCIS backdoor pilot episode, Meltdown (episode).
