Lake Erat is a large lake in what is now Sendaria. It was formerly the center of the duchy of Erat, back when it was still part of Arendia. Hidden somewhere near the shores of the lake is a large mansion owned by the sorceress Polgara; over the centuries, she has occasionally used the mansion as a hiding place for the family of the Rivan Line.
