An hour after the botched murder of Egwene al'Vere, Gawyn is reprimanded by Egwene. She leaves to tell the tower guard to be vigilant and Gawyn leaves. Chebain and Gawyn discuss one of the assassin’s knifes. Gawyn tells Jimar Chubain about the Younglings allowing the Younglings to join the tower guard. On his way out of the tower, gawyn saddles his horse and goes to the traveling ground. Here he takes a gateway to Caemlyn.
