CMS Evita was officially a Silesian-flagged freighter, but in truth served as a pirate ship. It was captured by HMS Hawkwing in the late 19th Century PD, but due to the influence of several high-ranking officials in the Saginaw Sector, was soon returned into the hands of the pirates. It then served as a guard for the slave depot in the Casimir System, but was destroyed when the Manticoran destroyer HMS Hawkwing liberated the slaves. At the time it was destroyed, Evita had changed her transponder to AMS Christiane Kirsch. (HHA5.3: LD)
