Miami Central Hospital is a location in DEXTER, with it's most notable appearance being in The Finale. After Lieutenant Debra Morgan faces a gunshot wound from Oliver Saxon, she is transported to this hospital...where they take her under their care. However, once her state becomes vegetative, she is assigned to a higher care. When Dexter Morgan asks about her condition, The Doctor informs him that she is in a temporarily unconscious state due to a misconnection with her brain from earlier surgery. Dexter, knowing that the outcome will be fatal, decides instead to mercifully kill her himself by shutting off her life-support. He does just that, and dumps her wrapped corpse into the harbor, while in the midst of the oncoming Hurricane Laura.
