Montag is a fireman who lives in a world where books are forbidden and he is hired to torch houses. One day, inspired by the love of a kind girl named Clarisse, he steals a book from a burning building. He is also determined to help his wife, Mildred, face the reality of his dystopian world and defy his corrupt boss, Captain Beatty.
