A union of the still largely sovereign states of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, the Central American Commonwealth, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela the Pan-American Confederation, or la Confederación Panamericana, is a socio-economic bloc much like the former EU or the current East Asian Association – indeed it was the first to arise following the New EU, created in 2054 in response to growing native economic power, the conflicts wracking Central and Southern America between 2040s and 2050s and the perceived cultural imperialism of the USA.
