He tried to invade Melmac, and it was up to ALF to save him when the Melmacian Air Force couldn't stop him. ALF tricked Larson Petty into flying his ship into a giant donut hole, where Petty's spaceship got stuck, and was dunked into a giant cup of coffee. He has a co-pilot who controls his spaceship. He doesn't have a reverse button on his spaceship, according to his co-pilot. Larson Petty is voiced by Thick Wilson. It is never made clear if Larson Petty had anything to do with the destruction of Melmac.
