Blizzard Voice (also known as "Blizzard Voice Chat") is an in-house Voice over Internet Protocol feature included as part of the Battle.net desktop app starting with v1.5.1. It is not clear if it shares technology with World of Warcraft Voice Chat, but it should share compatibility. Most likely, the in-game version was already or will be changed to use the same technology.[citation needed]
