Police Constable Gemma Osbourne was a police officer in the long running ITV drama The Bill. Osbourne began her policing career with the Greater Manchester Constabulary before transferring to the Metropolitan Police in London. She had obvious talent as a driver having excelled in her position with Traffic Control but was transferred to Sun Hill as a result of the Commissioner's initiative to place traffic officers on the front line combating street crime
