Flybane was a commander in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. In 22 BBY, Flybane aided Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Jedi Master Tanis during a battle on the planet Ryloth. In the midst of the fight, Skywalker recorded a holographic transmission, requesting aid from the Republic, but he was spotted by a Confederate battle droid in the process. As Skywalker charged to attack the droid, he told Flybane and Master Tanis to keep close. Ultimately, the Republic won the battle.
