Shashi Kapoor (1938–2017) was an Indian actor and former romantic leading man in Bollywood films. In 1996, he played the Rajah of Laputa in Gulliver's Travels. He was a member of the noted Kapoor acting dynasty, including father Prithviraj, siblings Raj and Shammi, and son Karan.
