The Federated States of Trill, or FST, was the planetary government of Trill, and a member state of the United Federation of Planets. The Trill planetary government has no name given in either canon or licensed non-canon material. The name was coined by fanfic author StarSword, with the initials first given in "Tinker, Golfer, Doctor, Trill" and the expanded form used in "The Silence Ends".
