Sasuke Uchiha (うちはサスケ, Uchiha Sasuke) is a main character in the Naruto canon series. He was originally introduced as a protagonist; a member of Konohagakure's Team 7. As the series progressed he became an antagonist, culminating in him becoming one of the most dynamic characters in the series. Sasuke is a missining-nin, defecting from his home village of Konohagakure, in order to pursue his quest for greater power. He is the younger brother of Itachi Uchiha, a former member of the infamous akatsuki organization, and is also a former student of the legendary sanin, Orochimaru.
