Genji Shield is the third strongest shield (second in the NES version). It can be found in the Cave of Shadows. Only the Onion Knight, Dark Knight, Freelancer, and Ninja classes can equip it. In the NES version, it provides 20 Defense, 35 Magic Defense, +5 Strength and Agility, and 19% Evade. In the 3D versions, it provides 18 Defense, 13 Magic Defense, and immunity to Confusion, Gradual Petrify, Petrify, Sleep, Toad, and Poison.
