The Aztec Mirror was an ancient Aztec artifact, rumored to possess the power to summon an evil deity that the locals named the Smoking Mirror God. The mirror was completely black and hardly reflected anything. It was hidden inside a large temple and protected by Guardian Statues, which would come to life and attack anyone who tried to remove the artifact from its resting place.
