Doctor Ramsey was an archaeologist who, in 2365, was in charge of an archaeological dig on the planet Denius III. That year, the USS Yamato visited the planet and Ramsey allowed Captain Donald Varley, commander of the Yamato, to carry an artifact back with him to his starship. (TNG: "Contagion" ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
