A variation of the technique is, instead of the seal appearing upon the palm of the hand, to implant the seal upon a Shadow Doppelganger. When the doppelganger is destroyed, it's remnant chakra will activate the technique to cast a large amount of chain in the direction of the target in attempts of distracting/ensnaring the opponent. This could provide a much needed opening for a deadlier attack.
