Galactic Basic is a Star Wars fan site with forums that are home to a number of dedicated regular members. It was founded by Andrew Beard. It is named after the language of the Star Wars galaxy (see: Galactic Basic Standard). It is also the adopted home of the Psychopathic Jedi, a comedy-writing fan-fiction group who have been causing mayhem in that galaxy far far away since late 2001, when they created the ongoing comedy "Real Jedi Punks" in the now Writer's Lounge forum at StarWars.com.
