The McLaren MP4-24 is a Formula One car built by McLaren for the 2009 Formula One season. The car was unveiled at the team's Woking headquarters on 16 January 2009, and was driven to 3rd in the Constructors' World Championship by defending World Champion Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen. Of the seventeen races that season, the MP4-24 won two, both in the hands of Hamilton. Comparatively, Brawn won 8, Red Bull 5 and Ferrari 1. It was succeeded in 2010 by the MP4-25.
