Darrin Howell was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Army. A Corporal in the Queen's Own Regiment, Howell was one of Princess Ruth's and Berry Zilwicki's bodyguards on their voyage to Erewhon. He was killed defending Princess Ruth and Zilwicki aboard The Wages of Sin, and posthumously awarded the Adrienne Cross for his sacrifice. (CS1)
