Brightwood was a town of the Griffin Empire famed for it's magic guilds. During Queen Isabel's War, the city was destroyed by Demons, but Isabel retook it and restored its Light magic seminary. Isabel then studied the mystical arts held in Brightwood's guild, and used her newly-gained knowledge in her following confrontations with Demons.
