Bugi was a woman of Clan Nifferlin, the sister of Haga and Lyma and the aunt of Fyllis and Maelys Nifferlin. Following the God-Emperor's rise to power, Haga, along with her two sisters and two nieces, survived by utilising Fyllis' ability to deceive wisp-watchers. Later, Bugi, Lyma and Haga masterminded a plan to use Fyllis' talent to free Cryl-Nish Hlar from Mazurhize prison and have Maelys seduce him so as to bind their family to the God-Emperor's. She would later die in the God-Emperor's prison under torture.
