Vanessa VanCleef (also known as Hope Saldean), was the leader of the Defias Brotherhood at the time of the second sundering. As the daughter of Edwin VanCleef, Vanessa was raised to be an expert rogue. After seeing her father brutally decapitated infront of her, Vanessa made a personal vendetta against the kingdom of Stormwind, or more specifically, King Varian Wrynn.
