Shinjo Goheki was a magistrate of the Unicorn Clan. He became infected while he was investigating the loss of a pair of caravans en route. One of the villages on the caravan's path had been in the initial stages of a plague. Goheki did not recover and his son Shinjo Kanjuro was appointed in Goheki's position.
