A garrison force was stationed by the Galactic Empire on the Outer Rim Territories planet of Felucia around 2 BBY, until the New Republic liberated the world in 7 ABY. They were stationed there by a direct order from the Imperial High Council, to quell the local rebellious population. Many soldiers assigned to the garrison noted it was no easy task.
