The film has received a large amount of praise, and has raised the equivalent of twelve million dollars in the box office after only one day. As far as Sasuke's role in the film, I believe I have found everything he does in the film (if I find more, I will update this response). He is shown very briefly roaming an unknown location after Sakura mentions her love for him to Hinata. He is next seen meeting up with an injured Hiashi in a plain. He then returns to Konoha and destroys a meteorite with his Chidori. He explains to Kakashi that only he can protect Konoha while Naruto is away. He then mysteriously disappears, leaving Hiashi behind. He is finally seen in the post-credits scene, roaming through the desert.
