The empty candle lantern can be filled with a white candle to create a candle lantern (white), or with a black candle to make a candle lantern (black). It can then be lit to produce a candle lantern (lit white) or candle lantern (lit black) respectively. Lighting the candle lantern requires a tinderbox and level 4 Firemaking. No experience is received when lighting a candle lantern.
