The Shadowscythe created a shadowscythe virus , or a shadow amoeba to infect the human specimens. The player saved the infected patient, and he returned to normal. The virus is located in the stomach of an infected human. The full effects of this virus are unknown as so far no human has been infected long enough for the virus to reach its climax.
